Located in a small cul-de-sac, this detached 4 bedroom family home is presented in lovely condition and has been well looked after by the current owners. The property is close to a pedestrian walkway which provides excellent access to the High Street, whilst a short stroll in the other direction can take you to the open fields and footpaths that surround Wickwar. Likewise the local primary school (Alexandra Hosea) is a short level walk away. Approaching the property you are greeted with a large brick paved driveway that will accommodate parking for several cars. The ground floor provides a light and bright entrance hall, a WC, then a large lounge/diner with a dual aspect and feature fireplace. You will then find a generous kitchen/diner that overlooks the rear garden, fitted with integrated appliances and a peninsula unit. You also have access into the integral garage from here. The first floor is flooded with natural light and provides 4 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has beautiful fitted wardrobes and a modern ensuite shower room. Outside a south facing rear garden completes this lovely family home.
With countryside surrounds and a quaint conservation High Street dating back to the 15th century, Wickwar has its own Public House, High Street Members Club, café, hairdressers and youth centre. There are also village playing fields just a stroll from the centre of the village, many local country walks and the picturesque Holy Trinity Church which has a beautiful location just north of the village. Alexander Hosea Primary School is in the village and is very popular, whilst there are several secondary schools in the area which are also of good reputation including the nearby, Katharine Lady Berkeley Secondary School which is in the catchment for most of the village. Wickwar is also ideal for commuters as the M4 Junction 18 is circa 8.7 miles to the south (passing by Chipping Sodbury) whilst the M5 Junction 14 is only 4.5 miles to the north-west. Chipping Sodbury and Yate are only minutes drive away and have many shops, a selection of supermarkets, a cinema, sports facilities and a train station direct to Bristol.
From Wickwar High Street turn right just before the traffic lights on to North Street. Follow straight down to Avon Way, turn right into Inglestone Road and follow until you reach the bollards where you will find the property in the cul-de-sac to your right. No. 80 will shortly be on your left hand side.
